Samsung to invest Rs.1970 crore in UP to further boost Make in India

Samsung India has announced expansion of its Noida plant with an investment of INR 1,970 crore to boost ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make for India’.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary, Rahul Bhatnagar and HC Hong, President & CEO, Samsung India Electronics, in the presence of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The Government of Uttar Pradesh approved the investment by Samsung India Electronics
