Delhi International Airport (Pvt) Ltd, a GMR led consortium, and Vodafone have partnered to provide high speed Wi-Fi services at both terminals of the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi, following successful trials over three months.
Vodafone customers who already have 1GB and 2GB, 3G or 4G pack will get 1GB free Wi-Fi which can be used in Wi-Fi zone at the IGI airport or any other Wi-Fi zone powered by Vodafone. The free 1GB Wi-Fi offer is also applicable on Vodafone U recharges of 1GB and above.
Travellers using Vodafone mobile services just need to click once on the Wi-Fi connect option in the My Vodafone Application for seamless connectivity. Vodafone customers wanting to connect to Wi-Fi using laptops or tablets need to select ‘VodafoneWiFi’ from the list of available networks and login by generating an OTP.
Vodafone is also planning to set up information booths, kiosks and promoters at the domestic and international terminals of Indira Gandhi International Airport, to help travellers access Vodafone Wi-Fi.
