Xiaomi is expanding its offline reach beyond China region and as a result has opened up its first overseas Mi Home store in Singapore. So far the company has its Mi Home stores in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The Singapore Mi Home store will be offering Xiaomi’s limited range of products as of now, this includes portable speakers, power banks alongside the Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3, Mi 5, Mi Max, and Mi Band 2. But the company intends to provide its complete range of products soon. The store is situated in a shopping mall Suntec City.
Reportedly, Xiaomi will now shift its focus to India and is expected to launch its first Mi Home store in the country soon. For the company, India is their second largest market for the mobiles outside China.
